Wood Baseball Bats by RockBats
Based on wood science and technology, RockBats offers the highest-quality wooden baseball bats available in the industry today. Innovation. Still the only baseball bat company that tests every bat and identifies the actual sweet spot on the barrel of the bat. Strength. Our solid-wood Hard Maple baseball bats are made with only North American Hard Maple, and we assure that ALL of our bats meet a minimum required slope-of-grain level of 1" of deviation in 28" of bat length. Matching our high-quality standards with our trademarked FORCE Technology(TM), results in the strongest wooden baseball bats in the industry. Combine all of our technologies, and you get the perfect formula for success... Innovation + Strength = Performance
Our solid-wood hard maple RockBats are available with a natural-finish handle, and the ink-spot marking on the handle which shows that you are receiving a wood bat that meets and exceeds Professional Baseball regulations. NOTE: The ink spot is a requirement in Professional Baseball, and we are one of the few companies to offer this quality to the general public. Basically, if the "slope-of-grain" is greater than 3-degrees, the bat is likely to break into multiple-pieces; if the "slope-of-grain" is less than 3-degrees, the bat will likely stay in one piece if/when it breaks. Bats with straight grain are much more durable than bats that have severe grain slopes. Be sure to visit our other informational site: http://www.woodbat.org/ Where you can learn more about wood quality, wood baseball bats, and all the new regulations.

A word about broken bats... If you have been breaking bats that look like the above (oval-shaped failure, that flies apart into multiple pieces), then it's time that you read through our sties, and understand the importance of appropriate "slope-of-grain" grading, and how that applies to the strength and performance of wood baseball bats. Basically, if a bat is made with wood that is NOT straight, it WILL break like the one shown above. If your bat is made with wood that IS straight-grain, then it should last longer, because it can be up to 300% stronger than the one shown above. A bat that has good straight-grain might still break if you mis-hit the ball badly (away from the sweet spot). However, it will typically fail by a failure type called "rupture". Rupture failures are safer, because the bat does not typically fly apart into multiple-pieces. Because RockBats is the only manufacturer that tests and identifies the location of the sweet spot, these features will prove vital in helping you train and become a better hitter. Please read below regarding our warranty statement. What we guarantee is that we are supplying you with a wood bat that meets all of the latest regulations for slope-of-grain and wood quality - because of the ink spot, this is something that we can MEASURE. NOTE: Click on this RockBats Warranty link to read about the Quality Warranty that we have on both our solid-wood and all-wood laminated composite bats. We assure that you will receive only the highest-quality wood bat possible. However, these are WOOD bats, and they are not indestructible. If you want a bat that is less likely to break, then we recommend our model RBD that has a 1.00" diameter handle.
