All-Wood Laminated Composite

Made from Hard Maple

We use a specially-processed high-strength wood
in the handle
20-30% stronger wood + made
even stronger due to the laminating

And a light-density wood used
in the core of the barrel
This offsets the weight that is added
by the strong handle wood
and it also shifts the
balance toward the handle - for MAXIMUM Bat Speed
(yes, this is like a corked
bat)
And, of course, EVERY RockBat
is tested and the sweet spot is marked on the barrel
The extra-strong wood
used in the core of the handle is also about 20% to 30% stiffer than
"average" hard maple. Bat test data shows that a stiffer handle
results in higher-performance, because energy is not lost due to the bat
flexing. Every time a bat flexes, it loses energy - this
is energy that could have been transferred to the ball.
